Although our company philosophy is to utilize chemical-free solutions for water treatment and purification, there are occassional situations where chemicals must be used. In particular, chlorination can be an extremely effective disinfectant. Chlorine may also be used as an oxidizer, for the purpose sanitizing water holding tanks, killing bacteria and other pathogens in water or even to provide supportive oxidation of inorganics such as iron.

In the rare instances that we must recommend chlorination, we prefer to utilized non-electric, chlorine tablet systems utilizing calcium hypochlorite tablets. These systems are cost effective, simple to operate, highly effective and provide many years of reliable operation.
