Highland Water

Oxidation systems work to 'pull' contaminants out of water by changing the chemical make-up from in-solution to out-of-solution. More simply, oxidation systems turn contaminants in water into particles, which can them be filtered from the water. Our OSS series of systems use oxygen or ozone as the oxidizing, both of which are effective to 'particularize' water contaminants and then filter them. Depending of water flow rate requirements, our OSS systems can handle extremely high parts of iron, manganese and other inorganic contaminants. An additional residual benefit of these systems is the oxidation of type-3 arsenic into type-5 arsenic for subsequent filtration with reverse osmosis systems.
